NKF Changes to Rescue the Game Economy and Token Value
Big Changes to NiftyKicks Factory โ Update!
As we step into the new year, GetRight Games is rolling out some game-changing updates to ensure a more balanced, strategic, and long-lasting play-to-earn experience in NiftyKicks Factory. These updates are designed to strengthen the in-game economy, refine resource management, and enhance player engagement. Here are the changes:
๐ฅ Production Capping โ A More Balanced Economy
To maintain long-term stability and value in the ecosystem, weโre adjusting token production across all in-game systems. Starting in January, production rates will be reduced by 50% across key resources:
๐น $NKFE: Museums and Kicks will generate half as much.
๐น NKFR, NKFL, NKFP, NKFT: Machine production will increase, but so will operational costs (more on this in Priority #2).
๐น NKFK: Libraries and Chronicles will also see a reduced output.
Why? This ensures token sustainability, prevents inflation, and keeps the in-game economy healthy for the long haul.
๐ Labor, Maintenance & Security Costs โ A New Layer of Strategy
Managing your operations is about to get more tactical with updated operational costs across various assets:
๐น Machines: Operating costs are increasing, but leveling up machines will reduce expenses. By Level 9, machines will require almost no operational costs. (No โmachine-breaking mechanismโ will be introduced.)
๐น Museums: These will now require all tokens for labor, maintenance, and security costs, with a tier-based system for different levels.
These changes add depth and decision-making to the gameโplayers who manage their resources wisely will thrive.
๐ Adjustments to Kicks โ Introducing Progressive Production Decline
To refine token yield from Kicks, weโre implementing a progressive production decline system:
๐น Newly minted Kicks will produce less over time.
๐น Weโre finalizing whether the countdown starts at mint or at stake.
๐น Hereโs an example of how production will adjust over a 12-month period:
โข Month 1-3: Legendary Kick produces 1.5 $NKFE/hour
โข Month 4-6: Drops to 1.1250 $NKFE/hour
โข Month 7-9: Drops to 0.75 $NKFE/hour
โข Month 10-12: Drops to 0.3750 $NKFE/hour
Weโre working on implementing a mutable attribute that tracks a 360-day countdown, dynamically adjusting Kick production as outlined above.

Theyโll follow the progressive production decline system introduced earlier.

Any special edition, promo, or collaboration Kicks will not be affected by these updates.

Commanders are about to undergo a major transformation, adding more depth and strategic decision-making to the game.
๐น Introducing Lifespan Mechanics โ Commanders will now have a finite lifespan, just like other units. Once they reach their limit, they die and can no longer lead convoys.

โข Convoys led by a dead Commander will be deletedโmeaning no loot, no rewards, and a costly loss.
โข Strategic deployment is more important than ever! Choose your missions wisely, or risk losing your strongest leaders.

Museums will no longer be free to runโthey now require ongoing maintenance to keep them functional.
